Therapy for caregivers and cycle breakers

I'm Claire, a therapist dedicated to supporting you through the challenges and changes of midlife and beyond. I support women who are under pressure from career demands, aging parents, growing children and the stresses of modern life. Midlife can be a time of deep questioning of your priorities and values, as you contend with relationship changes, health issues, and new roles and responsibilities in caregiving for parents or other friends and family. This life stage can result in burnout, depression, or anxiety, and sometimes physical struggles like chronic pain or menopausal symptoms.

My approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness to help you nurture self-compassion, accept your thoughts and feelings, and stay present. I commit to co-creating a space for growth and understanding your unique experiences. My lived experience with patriarchal systems, religious trauma, parenting, pregnancy loss, aging, and family illness inform my practice. I'm here as a witness and supportive ally as you navigate this time and can provide tools to help you get to know yourself better and rediscover your inner balance and stability.
